Microsoft believes that the three year warranty placed on all Xbox 360's is actually something of a real positive which could be a crucial factor in driving sales. Euro head honcho Chirs Lewis stated that "the undertaking is completely voluntary" and that some retailers are seeing the three year warranty as a Unique Selling Point (USP) for the Xbox 360.
