Tecmo has confirmed that half a million copies of Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 have been shipped worldwide. This figure is particularly impressive considering the title has only been out for two months in Japan and around a month everywhere else.

Temco seems amped about Ninja Gaiden Sigma. They just announced that their first Playstation 3 game shipped out 500,000 copies worldwide. Not bad news at all considering Ninja Gaiden Sigma has only been out for two months in Japan and around a month everywhere else. It’s even better news considering that Ninja Gaiden Sigma really is a prettier version of Ninja Gaiden Black with a new character. Gamers must love Ryu!
But will the owners of Ninja Gaiden Sigma pony up more cash? Tecmo is about to release the survival mission pack on August 31 in Japan for 315 yen ($3).
