Epic's Mark Rein has cast doubt on whether Unreal Tournament 3 will be a timed exclusive afterall after he offered 'no guarantee' that the PS3 and PC version will make its proposed November release. Rein commented that the team is taking a get it right over a getting it right now approach so there is no definite guarantee that the game will ship for PS3 in November. Providing all is well on 360, the potential delay on PS3 could see a near simultaneous release on both platforms.

But any delays would see the shooter slip dangerously close to its release on Xbox 360 in early 2008.

"We do not know exactly when the game will be completed," wrote Rein on Epic's official forums.

"All we've said is that we're hoping for a November release, but as you know we value getting it right over getting it right now, so there's no guarantee of that," he said.
