A Sony exec has reportedly said the electronics giant is in discussions with Microsoft about Blu-ray for Xbox 360, but a Microsoft rep tells Next-Gen that there are "no plans" to bring the technology to its console.

"In response to Stan Glasgow’s statement that Blu-ray is a possibility for Xbox 360, we have made no such announcement". They also have said that "Games are what are driving consumers to purchase game consoles and we remain focused on providing the largest library of blockbuster games available."

Michael, actually I didn't customize anything, its just a blogger template I googled (can't remember where I got). I'm glad you like it. Thanks.

Well, I guess that kind of sucks. Those who are looking for a game system that has duality functions, i.e. the ability to play games and movies, will overlook the Xbox 360 now that the HD-DVD is going to extinct. I guess the PS3 will win that demographic of people, however, small that is.
