A group called the 'Ottom@n team' are claiming that they will release a PS3 loader on September 9th 2007. They claim it will allow you to play 'downloaded' or 'ripped' PS3 games from your hard drive or an external USB solution. They have released the following video and state their loader boots from the other OS function of the PS3 and is v1.8 firmware compatible. Of course this is most likely a FAKE and I'm no way suggesting it is real just reporting on what is out there...
