Some new statistics have been thrown out by the Blu-ray camp at IFA 2007. It is claimed that Blu-ray holds 90% of the market share in Japan, and elsewhere in Europe Blu-ray sales are toppling HD-DVD in a ratio of 3:1 while in the US over 66% of high-def disc sales are attributed to Blu-ray.
